Keswick
Burns Farm

Location: St John’s in the Vale
Burns farm is one of the oldest working farm campsites in the Lakes, they know what they’re doing here, but despite being traditional they aren’t old fashioned. As well as the campsite they have 14 luxury glamping cabins each with its own hot tub. These cabins are adults only, sleep two and each come with an outdoor bbq area. There are also 5 luxury bell tents on site which are family friendly and sleep 4. If you get a clear night the star-gazing here is wonderful due to being in a dark sky area!
Castlerigg Hall

Location: Keswick
There’s 5 different styles of glamping accommodation on this side, ranging from a glamping pod that sleeps two with shared bathroom facilities to the luxury hex pod which sleeps a family of 4 and comes fully-equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a king-size bed and a balcony. The onsite shop is well stocked and you can grab a slice of cake and a cuppa at the gallery. If you prefer to be social instead of retreating to your pod, the onsite campers lounge has board games and is a great place to chat and perhaps find out about different walks in the area!
Shepards hut dolly wagon
Price per night: From £75 per night
Location: Stybeck Farm, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4TN
This gorgeous, comfortable, cosy wagon comes complete with stunning views of the Helvelyn range. There’s a microwave and a two burner hob for preparing meals in the kitchenette. There is no wifi available here which makes it perfect to disconnect and enjoy your surroundings. It’s situated on a working farm so expect to see some animals pottering about.
