- Camping and Caravan Parks: If your family loves the outdoors, there are great campsites around Aviemore. The fresh air and freedom for the kids to explore nature is fantastic.. My recommendation is the Dalraddy Holiday Park. If you’re lucky they may have a couple of food trucks on site too – when we stayed they had a wood fired pizza van and a Thai van which sorted evening meals, there’s also a quirky little yurt that you can sit inside to eat!
There’s no shortage of family-friendly stays, and with so many things to do nearby—like Landmark Forest Adventure Park or the Highland Wildlife Park—you’ll have plenty to keep everyone entertained.
